VRP Medical Center is 50!
VRPMC has served over four million patients and counting for five decades now. This ISO-certified tertiary hospital today was once upon a time the tallest 10-storey building and one of the landmarks along Highway 54, now EDSA. Over the last five decades, VRP Medical Center, formerly named Polymedic General Hospital, has thrived and survived the tests of time, even with the unprecedented global COVID-19 crisis that has severely hit the healthcare industry.
VRP Medical Center received the international distinction for being the first ISO 9001:1994 (Quality Management System) Certified hospital in Metro Manila from the Anglo Japanese American Registrars, Inc, in June 2001. This certification gives the assurance that patients are given quality service through the quality management system. Since 2001, the standard of quality continues to increase showing the best possible healthcare services for the patients. Despite the lock down, VRPMC sustained its quality standards in business operations and has maintained its ISO Certifications for Quality Management System, Environment Management System, and Occupational Health and Management System with flying colors.
We firmly stood the test of time to operate an efficient health system that maintains the highest possible standard of care of Alagang VRP. We will continue to provide the highest quality healthcare services in the new normal –delivering babies, caring for immune-compromised or geriatric patients, attending emergency cases, performing surgeries, and responding to outbreaks. We envision VRPMC to be known as a safe hospital with its signature Alagang VRP customer care in the next 50 years and forth.
