VRPMC constructed another Emergency Room dedicated for COVID 19 cases with separate rooms for outpatient consultations and swab testing to respond to the resurging demand for COVID 19 patients being admitted for emergency treatment. It was also built to follow zoning and isolate clean cases from COVID 19 cases. This newly constructed ER 2 and Ambulatory Consultations and Swabbing Unit was opened in September 2020 receiving estimated monthly census as reported: 207 swab tests, 237 consults, and 329 ER2 patients.
