All four laboratory Med Techs of the VRPMC Microbiology Section, Department of Pathology hurdled the Proficiency Assessment for GeneXpert testing for TB (MTB/RIF) conducted by the assessors of the Philippine Private Sector Diagnostics Consortium (The Consortium) on June 26, 2020.
VRPMC is the first to procure and receive the GeneXpert System for TB testing among the members of The Consortium. It is also the first facility to undergo a proficiency assessment.
