Message from the President
We are a year closer to a grand celebration of our golden anniversary. In practice, every year is a milestone for us. With each passing year, we always begin our anniversary celebration with thanksgiving to acknowledge God. His grace empowers us to deliver our quality and excellent services to our patients and their families. We have been able to carry on by working together and staying close to our strategic values.
The covid-19 crisis that we experienced for the past two years, and counting has intensified our creativity and resourcefulness. The pandemic accelerated our innovative minds. The current situation has mobilized us to innovate new products and services to meet the emerging needs of our patients wherever they are.
Patient safety is our priority. We continue to communicate to our patients that they are safe in the hospital. They should not delay their medical consults, laboratory tests, and procedures. To give them no reason to miss their medical needs, we are coming to their doorsteps. This year we are launching our mobile clinic to meet our patients where they are.
We are also intensifying our telemedicine with E-Konsulta Plus, Telerounds Home Care, Tele-Rehab, and more. We are developing our Care Connect one-stop-shop patient portal to cater to our patient’s needs through online booking appointments for consults and ancillary services and receiving online medical results. Our medical affairs office and hospital administration will continue to hold free webinars for relevant medical talks and lectures.
Amid the crises that we encountered last year, we rebounded with a hospital recovery plan with 6 keystones integrated within hospital administration and clinical management: strengthening infection control, leveraging information technology, internal and external communication, increasing revenues, cost management, and cash flow management.
We will remain true to our mission and vision to be the hospital of choice. We will continue to provide the highest quality of healthcare services to keep everyone healthy at all times.
As we complete another year and enter another milestone, let us move forward in fulfilling our service commitment.
Congratulations VRPMC and see you on our golden year!

Message from the Administrator
To our patients, employees, consultants, residents and other partners: Thank you for your love and continued support to VRP Medical Center. As we celebrate our 49th founding anniversary, we are humbled by your support and commitment to serve.
Despite the continued threat of the COVID-19, we at VRP Medical Center, have proactively shifted our service to meet our patients where they are and serve them better.
VRP Medical Center offers Telerounds Home Care for COVID-19 patients with hospital standard of telemonitoring during their isolation period at the comfort of their home. We have doubled our efforts to cater to more patients for our E-Konsulta telemedicine. We also offered our patient portal app, Care Connect, as an alternate solution for patients to check their diagnostics and laboratory results plus more.
Despite the recent surge of COVID cases, we manage to manifest the Alagang VRP in every patient experience and make sure that all patients’ concerns are attended to. VRP Medical Center won’t achieve what it has right now without the trust and confidence of our patients. We are truly grateful for your making VRPMC your hospital of choice as we continue to pursue our vision of being the best medical center in the country.
Cheers to more years of service and Alagang VRP.

Message from the Medical Director
Congratulations to VRPMC for its 49th founding anniversaryI
Forty-nine years have passed since it was founded. But anniversaries are not just counting years of existence. This anniversary is to remember those who founded this institution with clear visions.
Certainly, those 49 years are not just walk in the park. It has its challenges which actually made it even stronger. VRPMC has withstood the test of time. Yet this would not be possible without the men and women who continue to carry on with that vision through the years. Hence, this anniversary celebration is also to recognize and honor each and every one of you who contributed, in one way or another, in making what VRPMC is today.
Cheers!

Message from the Deputy Medical Director
Time flies fast considering that in 1973 during VRPMC’s birth, the hospital’s future was uncertain and depended solely on the resolute dedication of its founders and commitment of all its healthcare workers and medical staff. Despite the many travails that have happened through these years, like the imposition of martial law (1970s), the country’s economic meltdown (1980s), the post- EDSA People Power political conflicts within the nation (late 1980s- 1990s), and currently the persistent and ruthless covid pandemic (2020s), VRPMC had withstood strongly against the challenges and threats to its existence and recovered remarkably despite all odds. We in VRPMC owe the hospital’s survival and continuous successes in overcoming the attendant financial and manpower challenges during these critical periods to the strong and dedicated leadership and the unequivocal support and commitment of our medical staff and the hospital employees.
VRP Medical Center today is surely a renaissance of the previous Polymedic General Hospital in the 1990s. Honoring the founder Dr. Victor R. Potenciano (VRP) in its official name has given the strong impetus for the hospital’s leadership and its dedicated employees and physicians, who knew him well, to attain the mission and vision of the founder.
Dr. VRP’s expertise and dedication in medical work, his compassion and care for patients, and his love for the hospital and its staff as his extended family are but a few distinct attributes of the founder who were loved by his students, colleagues, fellow workers, family, and friends. His memory is the ultimate reason why we in VRPMC work hard for the hospital’s attainment of its unselfish goals for doctors and the community we served.
As we look forward to our 50th anniversary in 2023 and the half-century of dedicated and compassionate service to the community we serve, we in VRPMC should hold our hands together and always ask the Lord’s blessings and guidance for being true to our mission and vision, and be truly matter on the community we served.
God bless us all.
